I'm looking to build a strip (non-electronic) 4L80 for my little 62 nova. Do you know how to hook up the wiring so I can bypass a ECU/CPU and make it shift hydraulically vs. electrically? I've followed your directions on the 700R4 for years and have had great success, now making more HP, need stronger tranny and believe the 4L80 is my next path.
Thanks for all you do!

You will need the 4L80EHD3 to make this a "full manual" setup. It will use a vacuum modulator (comes in the Shift kit) in place of the EPC solenoid. If you are going to use a lockup torque converter, you will have to get a hold of "Painless" for a lockup kit, unless you can make up a setup for it yourself. With a "non-lockup" TC, no concerns here. I will get you a price on the HD3 on Monday if you are interested in doing this. Let me know?
