is it true that the 4x4 4l60e is different from the 2wd for the output bearing? was told that the 4x4 doesnt have that bearing and the 2wd has it. doesnt make sense to me. looking at the bearing included in the picture i attached there is a bearing yet my truck is a 4x4. I'm having a hard time finding the proper one to replace this. I have about 8 thou of clearance between the output ring gear hub and the bearing. Just need to know if i need to replace it or not. seems like theres too much play but i could be wrong. anyone know? thanks in advance. :?:

When you replace this bronze bushing (not a bearing), make sure the solid area of the bushing is at the bottom of the case. This is where the bushing hooks together. The slots in the bushing face forward. The aftermarket part number is 74064.
